Eva Frontier Days Bake-Off Posters

I am excited to go to my hometown Eva, AL for Eva Frontier Days this weekend. It's an annual tradition in our little town and it's a family tradition to participate in the bake-off. So, today I am sharing some poster designs I did for the event in the past.

I actually created the posters for an assignment for a typography class that I took online. I had the opportunity to take the How Design University Mastering Typography Class and it was a great way to brush up on my typography skills.

My favorite part of this project was creating the vector pie/cake/cake stand/rolling pin illustrations. I don't usually get the opportunity or have the time on daily work assignments with tight deadlines to do illustration, so, I enjoyed putting the time and effort into creating these illustrations.
