My daughter loves hearts ("hawts") and when I came across this handmade valentine post I knew it was exactly what I wanted to do for her classmates at daycare! Quinn and "Dada" helped me peel the crayons for the heart molds, so, it was a sweet and fun family activity. Of course, the most fun part for me was designing the custom 4x6 cards with a crayon-inspired look. (link to download the card file below)

COLOR YOUR HEART OUT VALENTINES!
I'm not going to lie, peeling the crayons was not an easy task. Luckily, my husband helped! My daughter would carry him crayons to peel and bring me back what I needed. Then, I broke the crayons into small pieces and filled the mold. I had two red hearts that ended up with green specs...soooo...be very neat and careful when filling the molds (unlike me lol).
Bake at 250 degrees for 15 minutes until the crayons are melted. I LOVE THESE HEART CRAYONS!! Super cute! The original instructions said to attach with hot glue. This was pretty tricky so I used extra strong glue dots and that worked perfectly!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
