My summer has been full of celebrations! As I mentioned in my last post, my sister is getting married this October. Earlier this month, I helped my mom with the shower thrown by friends and family in our hometown Eva, Alabama. We have a great rustic event space now in town called Charlie's Place, so we knew that space would have a lot of potential for a romantic rustic bridal shower.
My invite design for the shower above. I used a modern romantic script with a wispy floral border in white to set the tone for the shower. They were printed on a linen paper to add texture to the design.
Bride-to-be Banner – I am all about banners now, and they are super easy to put together! We used a glitter ribbon through the banner and glitter tulle to hang down on both sides.
The lovely bride-to-be with her banner.
We had a theme of happily ever after throughout the shower.
Look at this amazing "Naked" carrot cake my mother made! Gorgeous AND delicious!
Leann LOVES Pride and Prejudice, so we had these signs at the shower to surprise her. I used the invite design elements and type to create the signage.
Very romantic and sweet!
Beautiful centerpieces arranged by my mother.
What a wonderful day full of great memories with friends and family. We thank everyone for coming to shower Leann!
