I am so excited that it's September because that means it’s almost fall! Sure, fall brings pumpkin spice, Halloween and cool weather (the cool weather not so much for us in the South though!) Fall also means outdoor festivals, carnivals and markets. With those fun activities in mind, I was inspired to start fall baking off on a different note – cotton candy!
Yummy cotton candy buttercream frosting tops a bakery style vanilla cupcake. It's all about the cotton candy extract with this recipe and it's gooooood!
I made these for a sweet friend's 35th birthday and they were a big hit with our group of four (and my kids and hubby loved them too!)! I used a Wilton 1M tip for these cuties and used multi-colored frosting to make them extra fun!
