My daughter wanted a rock climbing party at our local climbing gym this year and the party was a blast! As always, I start party planning by designing the invitation. The theme: Turning 8 Rocks!!!
My daughter wanted her favorite colors: teal, purple and pink.
The party room was pretty dark and unappealing, but we transformed it the best we could into a colorful, fun space!

Pretty pastel marbled plates and napkins from Party City. For the party favors, I created a matching tag that said "Thanks for hanging at my party, you rock!" available in my etsy shop and the favors were pop rocks candy and these cute handmade braided woven friendship bracelets.
My favorite part of any party – the cake!!! This amazing rock climbing themed birthday cake was made by my mother! It was absolutely delicious! The rock candy sprinkles and topper were from etsy shops!
My mother also made these beautiful marbled sugar cookies topped with edible glitter.
The birthday girl had a BLAST at her rock climbing party! I highly recommend this theme and activity!
